Improving the Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Network and enhancing atmospheric environmental monitoring capabilities
The requirements for national monitoring of environmental air quality have become more sophisticated with the subsequent adoption of policy regulations such as the Eco-Environmental Monitoring Network Construction Programme (issued in 2015), the National Ecological Monitoring Programme 2021 (issued in 2021) and the “XIV5” Ecological Environmental Protection Plan (issued in 2022). Increased capacity-building for environmental monitoring, improvement of the national air quality monitoring network in the integrated layout of urban stations, background stations and regional stations, reduction of total emissions of major atmospheric pollutants, improved eco-management, scientificization, rule of law, precision, information and standardization are major tasks for now and for some time to come.
The ambient air quality monitoring solution, based on the AQMS-9000 environmental air quality monitoring system, combined with data acquisition transmission systems, integrated air monitoring warning platforms and ambient air quality data dissemination platforms, can meet the demand for environmental air monitoring at various levels of environmental monitoring stations and other environmental monitoring bodies, and can monitor conventional parameters such as SO2, NOx (NO, NO2), CO, O3, PM10, PM2.5, VOCs (NMHC, BTEX), H2S, NH3 and meteorological parameters such as wind direction, wind speed, temperature, etc., for urban environmental air quality assessment, pollution sources air quality control.
Programme content
The ERQ solution is premised on national and industry standards and integrates the construction of hubs, monitoring substations, quality assurance laboratories and systems support laboratories in combination with domestic and foreign technologies. The regional Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Network system could be further refined to enhance atmospheric environmental monitoring capabilities, effectively channel atmospheric pollution control pressures, develop monitoring, inspection and assessment systems, provide technical safeguards for monitoring and checking the actual level of atmospheric environmental quality in the region, and help management to assess accurately the quality of the atmosphere and to make scientific decisions.
